Alacia is a trainee guard, or Puppy, in the Provost's Guard of Corus in 246 HE. Alacia is named in tribute to the first Queen of King Roger II of Conté.

From April 1, 246 HE until April 4, 246 HE she serves in Unicorn District on Day Watch. In that time she flirts with the youngest and only son of the Lord of Olau. The Lord complains at the local guard station and Alacia is transferred to Night Watch in Prettybone District.[1]

She doesn't appear herself in the books so far and is only mentioned in Terrier, when Verene shares the newest gossip with her friends.
