The Battle Islands are a group of over a dozen islands in the northern part of the Pebbled Sea. They are to the north of Hatar, to the west of Sotat, to the south of Emelan and to the east of Anderran. Its inhabitants are infamour for piracy. A major attack on the harbor of Summersea and the neighboring temple community Winding Circle was staged in 1035 KF.

The islands have been mentioned in several novels set in the Emelanese Universe, including Tris's Book, and they are even the single setting in Melting Stones.
