Chubby was a pony from Fief Trebond. He strongly disliked Thom of Trebond, often managing to "dump him"^[1] and fidgeting, when Thom was riding him, but got on fine with Alanna. Chubby accompanied Alanna to Corus but was later replaced by Moonlight because he was old and tired and because a knight-to-be needed a real horse, not just a pony.

The pony only appeared in Alanna: The First Adventure.
