Conal of Mindelan was the fourth child of Ilane and Piers of Mindelan. One of his younger sisters was Kel. Like his two older brothers Conal was a knight. He was remembered as a menace at court. Around 446 HE he held his four-year old sister Kel off of a balcony, considering it a joke but thus creating her fear of heights^[1]. Along with Kel and Avinar Conal was one of those siblings still unmarried by the 460s.^[2]
