Eidart Bancanor (pronounced EYE-dahrt BAN-kan-ohr) is the youngest child and only son of Matazidah and Kolborn Bancanor. He has three older sisters: the twins, Niamara and Jorality, and Peigi. Since Namornese inheritance laws favor males (though women can inherit titles and lands if they have no brothers), Eidart is most likely the heir to most of his parents' wealth.

He only appears as a minor character in Cold Fire.
