Eldorne is a Tortallan fief. It neighbors Malven, another fiefdom.
Family history[]
Rebellion[]
Soldiers from Eldorne were involved in the Coronation Day Battle, fighting against King Jonathan.
Disgrace[]
After the Coronation Day Battle, the family was disgraced, although they were not stripped of titles and lands nor was the major offender—Delia—executed. King Jonathan IV punishes them and other rebel nobles by forcing them to host large banquets and balls whenever the Court goes on progress. This is especially true in 457 HE when the incredibly large Court stops at fiefs that have a history with rebellion.
Family members[]
- Unnamed Lord of Eldorne—mentioned in Squire as being the grandfather of Lerant. As Delia is Lerant's aunt, this man is Delia's father.
- Delia of Eldorne—part of a conspiracy to overthrow first King Roald V and then King Jonathan IV. Imprisoned in her home after the Coronation Day Battle.
- Lerant of Eldorne—scorned by others for being a member of a traitorous family. Taken in by Raoul of Goldenlake.
