The Emelan Universe, also known as Circle Universe, is the setting of two quartets and two stand-alones by Tamora Pierce. It is named after the Duchy of Emelan which is the setting of the entire first quartet, as well as Magic Steps from the second quartet, and the first part of the stand alone The Will of the Empress.
