Faleron of King's Reach was a Tortallan knight. He started page training in autumn of 451 HE, the year before Keladry of Mindelan. Two of his yearmates included Yancen of Irenroha and Balduin of Disart. Faleron was made a squire in 455 HE, although it's unknown who his knight-master was. He passed his Ordeal of Knighthood on midwinter of 459 HE[1][2]. He was one of Kel's friends during her time as a page. Faleron was described as being dark and handsome. He was related to Merric of Hollyrose and sponsored him in 452 HE, Merric's first year. He is a loyal friend to Kel, joining her study group and her fight against bullies and hazing. One particular brawl began during his third year and Kel's second year, when Faleron asked her for help with mathematics. Kel agreed, and an antagonist page, Garvey of Runnersprings, made a crude joke about Faleron "having" Kel whenever he wanted her. Faleron went to retaliate, but Kel stopped him. This was of little use, as their friend Nealan picked a fight with Garvey and his friends anyway.

- ↑ It could also have been 458 HE, because the dates in Squire have some inconsistency, but if one assumes that Faleron served the regular four years as a squire 459 HE is more probable.
