Falthin (pronounced FALL-thihn) was a raka bowyer (one who makes bows) who worked at the Balitang's Tanair estates.
He accepted Nawat as his apprentice fletcher. He was kind to Nawat, who reminded him of his own son, and allowed him a lot of free time in his work, as well as a place to live.
