Fort Steadfast was a fortified command post used by the Tortallan armed forces during the Scanran War. It was located about 50 miles west of Fort Mastiff, more than 100 miles west of Fort Giantkiller and about 200 miles west of Northwatch Fortress.[1]
During the Scanran War, it became the main headquarters and command base of the King's Own, and Raoul of Goldenlake was the knight in command who was stationed there. Domitan of Masbolle was forced to leave Haven with his squad and report to Steadfast once war was officially declared.[2]
