Franzen fer Toren, also spelled Frantsen, is Duke Vedris's youngest son. He has an interest preventing his father from making Sandrilene fa Toren his heir.^[1]

He became incredibly ambitious, and he wants to be his father's named heir, as his oldest brother has been disinherited and his older brother has no interest in leaving the navy.
