The Great Road North spans from Port Caynn to the northern border of Tortall and cuts through the Grimhold Mountains. It connects the City of the Gods to Trebond through the smaller road, Trebond Way.
In its course to the north, it cuts through the Three Rivers Province in the middle of northern Tortall where it bisects the Galla Highway and leads through Queensgrace and Princehold. It also borders the town of Babet near Fief Halleburn.
Protection and patrols
The Great Road North was patrolled by the King's men to ensure travelers' security from bandits. A rider traveling at a normal pace needed approximately four to five days to get from Trebond to Corus.
