The Great Temple of Mithros is located in Berat, Maren. The temple is of Mithran affiliation and thus all priests are men.
Architecture[]
The Great Temple is known for its stunning architecture and motifs celebrating two of Maren's most beloved rulers, Norrin and Anj'la. Their symbols are etched into the stonework of the temple: a snow-capped mountain and a willow branch. This shows the prosperity brought by their rule with the Dominion Jewel.[1]
History[]
It is unknown when the Great Temple was built even though King Norrin and Queen Anj'la ruled during the 3rd century HE.[1] It is likely that it was built for Mithros long before their joint reign but their symbols were etched into the stonework as a continued celebration for their legacy.
