Heluda Salt is a magistrate's mage in Kugisko. She is responsible for the investigations in the false coins and helped in this investigation by Frostpine. After the counterfeiter is found and arrested Heluda looks into the fires, which recently started all over the city. It is her who first suggests to Daja Kusibo that Bennat Ladradun might be the fire-starter. When Daja and Frostpine leave Kugisko she takes over Jorality Bancanor's meditation lessons.

She only appears in Cold Fire.
