Henrim of Tirrsmont (pronounced HEHN-rim of TEERS-mont) was a young member of the Tortallan nobility of the 5th century HE. He became Alexander of Tirragen's squire, but never became a knight.
Biography[]
Squiredom[]
Henrim became Alex's squire, and the knight took no time in making him loyal to Roger of Conté, a nobleman who had tried for the throne in years past. Squire Henrim helped organize the insurgency during King Jonathan's coronation in July of 439 HE. He helped mobilize troops from Fief Eldorne and Fief Tirragen, and let his knight-master know when everything was ready.
He made the mistake of thinking that Duke Roger still wanted the throne, and Alex considered him one of the many fools who was working for Duke Roger. The Conté Duke actually wanted to destroy Tortall and everyone in it using dark magic to create earthquakes.
The insurgency was stopped through the efforts of King Jonathan, using the Dominion Jewel, and Alanna of Trebond, who killed Duke Roger for good before he could create more killer earthquakes.
Appearances[]
He only appears in Lioness Rampant, the final installment of The Song of the Lioness quartet by Tamora Pierce.
