Ikrum Fazhal is the tesku--or leader--of the Vipers and an inhabitant of Chammur. He had some trouble with the tesku of the Gate Lords, a rivaling gang. In 1039 KF Lady Zenadia doa Atteneh bought his and his gang's services through gifts like new clothes, gang insignia--a golden nose-ring with a garnet--, and weapons. Through her gifts the Vipers rose to the most powerful gang in Chammur. In exchange his gang did her bitting, among others tracking and capturing the young stone mage Evumeimei Dingzai. Ikrum was loyal to Lady Zenadia even after other gang members had already realized that she only used them and was responsible for murders among them and he finally died trying to prevent Briar Moss from breaking into her house and freeing his student Evvy.
