Novice Jaen (pronounced JANE) was working in the Winding Circle Water Temple, where bandages were stored, in 1035 KF. When Dedicate Willowwater realized this she became cross with Jaen, who should have paid closer attention to the storages.

Jaen only appeared very briefly at the beginning of Tris's Book, in one of the conversations Trisana Chandler heard on the winds.
