Jebilu Stoneslicer is a stone mage in Chammur. He had formerly spent some time in the court of the Yanjingi Emperor, where he learned about the different forms of miniature trees. By 1039 K.F. he managed to drive all other stone mages from the city, thus becoming the only mage of this area of expertise in town.

Briar Moss visits him and asks him to take Evumeimei "Evvy" Dingzai on as his student because she also has stone magic and thus should be taught by a stone mage. He refuses however and only considers it after Rosethorn also paid him a visit. Reminding him of his duties under the laws governing mages laid down by the Winding Circle Initiate Council and the University of Lightsbridge. Evvy refuses to be taught by him because she immediately realises that he wouldn't be a good teacher to her. She refers to him as "Jooba-Hooba", a nickname Briar later also uses for Jebilu.

He only appears in Street Magic so far.
