Jump is Keladry of Mindelan's small and ugly dog. He was first introduced in Page in the Protector of the Small Series and has protected Kel. He works well with the sparrows and follows Kel everywhere. During Page Kel pretends that Jump is not her pet because they are not allowed. Jump wove his way into the heart of the training master Wyldon of Cavall and is allowed to stay with her.
