Karang was a country in the Emelanese Universe. It was situated to the east of Lairan, to the northeast of Qualai and to the north of Janaal. The Lightsbridge University, a famed center of knowledge and magic, could be found in Karang. The Osar Mountains were situated in this country and Tenth Caravan Idaram crossed these mountains in early 1034 KF, when Polyam lost her left eye and leg^[1].
