Kirel is the apprentice of Dedicate Frostpine^[1], although only for working with iron^[2], and also a novice at Winding Circle Temple in Summersea, Emelan.^[3] Before becoming a novice Kirel lived in north Lairan^[4]. Around 1036 KF he seemed to have a crush on a girl associated with Air Temple who usually ate at a table near his own with her friends. She seemed to return the affection.^[5]

Physical descriptionEdit

He is white-skinned^[6] and described as being huge; even Frostpine is half a head smaller than Kirel^[6]. In addition to his being tall Kirel is also big-bellied and heavy-armed.^[6] He has braided fair hair and blue eyes.^[3] Kirel normally wears the white robes of temple novices.
