Kirel (pronounced KEER-ehl) was the apprentice of Dedicate Frostpine[1],for the dedicate's work with iron[2], and also a novice at Winding Circle Temple in Summersea, Emelan.[3] Before becoming a novice Kirel lived in north Lairan[4]. Around 1036 KF he seemed to have a crush on a girl associated with Air Temple who usually ate at a table near his own with her friends. She seemed to return the affection.[5]

Physical description

He was white-skinned[6] and described as being huge; even Frostpine (who is a little over six foot) was half a head shorter than Kirel[6]. In addition to his being tall Kirel was also big-bellied and heavy-armed.[6] He has braided fair hair and blue eyes.[3] Kirel normally wears the white robes of temple novices.
