Liam of Conté (b. 443 HE[1]) is the third child and second son of Jonathan of Conté and Thayet jian Wilima. He is third in line of succession to the throne of Tortall after his older brother Roald, and Roald's daughter, Lianokami.[2] His older sister Kalasin removed herself from the line of succession upon her marriage to Kaddar of Carthak. He is also Knight of Tortall[3] and better at weapons than his younger brother Jasson. Jonathan is looking for a Scanran princess for Liam to marry.[4]
He was named for Liam Ironarm, the Shang Dragon who saved Jonathan's life by taking arrows meant for him during the Coronation Day Battle in Lioness Rampant.
