Liam of Trebond was the sixth child of Coram Smythesson and Rispah Cooper, the baron and baroness of Trebond. Liam had nine brothers and sisters: Jonthair, Alinna, Thomsen, Mylec, Daran, Thayine, Rose, Elenna, and Buran. It's not much known about him but at some point he joined the Tortallan army. Unlike his two oldest brothers Liam probably didn't train as a knight.^[1] During the Scanran War he helped by scouting.^[2]

Liam was named after the famous Shang Dragon, Liam Ironarm.

He didn't appear in any of the novels so far, but has only been mentioned by Tamora Pierce on the internet.
