Luarin is the term used by the raka of the Copper Isles when referring to the white population of the isles. The luarin first came to the isles around 175 HE. Following the luarin conquest the raka were oppressed and even enslaved until the revolution in 463 HE, when Dovasary Balitang, a part-raka Queen, came into power. The luarin's rise to power in the Isles caused their gods (Mithros and The Goddess) to gain power there. They banished the raka god, Kyprioth to the seas immediately around the Copper Isles.
