Marinie of Trebond was born as Marinie of Tasride^[1] and married to Alan of Trebond. This marriage caused her to break with her family, because she was supposed to marry a rich Gallan noble.^[2]

Marinie had two children with her husband, the twins Alanna of Trebond and Thom of Trebond. Marinie died giving birth to them, despite her magical Gift. Her husband mourned her death and blamed their Gifts for not saving her. He called out her name when he died during Alanna's squire years.

Seaver of Tasride was her grand-nephew.^[1]
