Mattin fer Toren is a member of House Toren and the father of Sandrilene fa Toren as well as the nephew of Duke Vedris. He was married to the equally pleasure loving Amiliane fa Landreg. Mattin and his wife both preferred traveling to the duties of looking after their lands. For example they traveled to Bihan where they saw a porcupine in the woods around 1030 K.F.[1] In the fall of 1034 K.F. he and his family visited Hatar. He died along with his wife in a smallpox epidemic, that broke there.
