Morrachane Ladradun is the mother of Bennat Ladradun and featured in Cold Fire. Her son inherited their fur empire, but Morrachane does the real legwork.

In Cold Fire, Morrachane was cruel to everyone except Jory and Nia Bancanor. She treated her servants badly in her belief that a starving servant worked harder. Being very conservative, she disapproved of Daja Kisubo's medallion, even though she had no idea what exactly it entailed. She also showed disapproval when she found out that Matazi Bancanor was allowing her mage daughters to choose their teachers.
