Orem (pronounced OHR-ehm), the brother of Shem, was a member of the Tortallan Court of the Rogue under George Cooper's rule. He and Shem accompanied George to House Azik in Port Caynn, when the Rogue visited there to restore order under the local rogues.

Orem only appears as a minor character in The Woman Who Rides Like a Man.
