Quickmunch was a marmot living in Dunlath. Her burrow was situated under the barrier Tristan Staghorn and the other mages created to keep people from getting out of the valley, thus enabling Quickmunch to pass to the outside and--when she shared Quickmunch's mind--to take Veralidaine Sarrasri with her. This helped Daine, Numair Salmalín and their allies a lot because Daine could get her friends on the outside useful information and plot with them.

The marmot only appears in Wolf-Speaker.
