The Rittevon family has been ruling over the Copper Isles ever since easterners invaded the isles in the luarin conquest. The house of Rittevon was founded by Rittevon of Lenman, a Marenite nobleman. He initialized the conquest, overthrowing the old raka queens and becoming the first luarin king of the isles.
The reign of the Rittevon dynasty lasted from the 170s HE until 463 HE, when Dovasary Balitang, a girl royal through two lines, became queen. Although Dovasary has the old blood of the Haiming dynasty in her veins through her mother, she is also related to the Rittevons through her father.
