Serg was a servant in the Bancanor household.  While Daja and her teacher Frostpine were staying with the Bancanors Serg drove Daja and the twins, Nia and Jory, aroud in the sleigh.  They needed him as driver because Daja and the twins had to speak with all possible teachers for the girls to enable them to make the right choice.

He only appears in Cold Fire.
