The Ghost was a murderer in Tharios. Around 1040 KF he killed eight yaskedasi and left their corpses on public spots. When Trisana Chandler first asked two prathmun if it could be one of them committing these crimes they denied it. However, Tris later found out that it was indeed a prathmun, when the Ghost tried to murder her. From him she learned that he was doing this to take revenge on the fine society from which he came. His father was a man of the First Class and his mother a yaskedasu. In the end he landed in the lowest class of the city, a prathmun only fit to clear the other's dirt away.

His victims were Nioki, Farray, Ophelika, Zudana, Yali, Iralima, Rhidassa and Stenatia.
