A yaskedasu is a Tharian performer. They can be tumblers, dancers, musicians, or any other number of entertainers. They are both men and women. They are required by the Tharian government to wear a yellow veil with their name and lodgings printed on the end of it. Their performances are to stay in Khapik. Known yaskedasi include Xantha and Poppy.

In Khapik, a murderer called the Ghost was killing yaskedasi. He was stoppped, but not before several were killed. His victims include Nioki, Farray, Ophelika, Zudana, Iralima and Yali.
