Zhaneh Bitterclaws (pronounced ZHAH-nay) was a Stormwing queen in the late 440's HE. She and some from her nation followed the transformed Numair Salmalín after his escape from Sinthya in 449 HE. She was killed that summer by Veralidaine Sarrasri.
Biography[]
Bitterclaws likely was alive before Immortals were sealed in the Divine Realms. She was released in the years before the Immortals War, and became queen of her Stormwing nation sometime prior to 449 HE.
In the Mortal Realms, she allied herself with the traitorous Lord of Sinthya in Tortall. When the Lord's prisoner Numair Salmalín escaped, Bitterclaws and some of her nation pursued him.[1] In an attack on Numair, Bitterclaws lost an eye to an arrow shot by Daine Sarrasri.
Bitterclaws allied herself with Carthaki pirates in the hopes of getting revenge on Daine. During the Siege of Pirate's Swoop in early summer 449 HE, she was killed by Daine.
