Zhaneh Bitterclaws (pronounced ZHAH-nay) was a stormwing queen in the late 440's HE. She and some from her flock followed the transformed Numair Salmalín after his escape from Sinthya in 449 HE. When they encountered Veralidaine Sarrasri and Onua Chamtong the girl shot one of her eyes out. Later that summer Daine managed to kill Zhaneh.

She only appears in Wild Magic.
